With a view to give “Digital Haryana” a decisive push, the chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday launched six more e-services bringing as many as 100 citizen-centric services pertaining to 12 departments on a single platform.

To lend greater meaning to good governance, this platform will play host to 380 services pertaining to 30 departments through a digital medium by April 14, 2018.

Khattar also launched ‘Swachhata Map Application’ (App) for 35 cities and the same would also be initiated in 80 cities of the state by January 26. Swachhata Map App would be linked with Swachhata App of Government of India with additional services.

The CM directed the officers to initiate the process of linking villages with this App to facilitate them to provide information about cleanliness in their area.

He also dedicated Saral Portal under e-Governance, to the people of the state. SARAL (Simple, all-inclusive, real-time, action-oriented, long-lasting) is a service delivery platform where citizens can now track and avail themselves of more than 100 services on a single platform.

The launch would make it easy for the citizens to discover the services they are eligible for. A total 2,500 tablets have been provided to patwaris across the state to enable them to digitally verify certificates.

Apart from this, Khattar also launched Deputy Commissioners (DCs) e-Dashboard (Darpan) which would not only offer an analytical view of the ongoing schemes throughout the country but also provide a unique survey of the national level schemes. Under this Dashboard, 11 services of the state government and seven of the Central government are being provided, he added.

For hotel industry, a digital register has been launched for the first time for visitors in the state. Under this, data of actual time visitors would be shared with the Police Department and manual verification would no longer be required. With the help of the state government, this App has been developed by Oyo Company.

A special feature of this App is that the data of hotels falling in the jurisdiction of the police station concerned would be seen by the in charge of the police station by logging in ID and maintaining the privacy of the people.
