The city will have to wait for some more time for the smart city command and control centre to be fully functional.

According to officials, it will take around 14 more days before the complaints of electricity, water supply, parking availability at markets, bus stands and multi-variable sign boards are installed.

After a wait of three years, the centre was launched formally on August 15, but as of now complaints related to Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) are only resolved.

According to LMC officials, 223 complaints regarding garbage collection, stray animals, fogging, installing dustbins and choked drains were received in last 16 days. Of these, 178 complaints have been resolved, while rest of the grievance redressal are in process.

The command centre runs on Master System Integrator (MSI) technology. The system has an in-built log system. This means if someone lodges a complaint through the centre, it will locate the exact location of the complainant and will forward it to the concerned department.
