The project ‘Upgrading the E-government System in the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Department of Tourism’ by FPT HCM completed its first stage of improving the digital ISO system and supporting public administration tasks as well as document management for the digital information portal of the department.

At the moment, FPT HCM is entering the second phase to better the document management task along with launching a mobile application. The stage is supposed to finish this September.

Thanks to this new application, about 70 users, who are current formal officers in the HCMC Department of Tourism, will be able to reduce their workload by 50 percent.

This project has contributed to the administrative reform of the Department, greatly boosting its performance in 2019. The new system is expected to help reduce the time needed to process documents while being able to precisely and transparently collect data for reports of the Department.
