The EU has set up a new web site as part of Europa which is DG INFSO site on Free and Open Source Software (F/OSS). It's an initiative coming out of the Information Society Directorate-General (Unit D3), and aims to provide information on activities conducted within European programmes and initiatives with the objective of raising awareness and understanding of free and open source software (F/OSS).
It includes links to European activities related to open source and links to some well-known websites on the subject are included.
