The award was given by the Department of Information Technology, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh (MP).
A large number of travellers visit various destinations in MP for leisure, business and family reunions.
“We targeted the consumers who booked railway tickets to any stations in MP.
These consumers were given information about MP through a follow up SMS after they have booked the ticket.
SMS works on all phones and has high acceptability.
Taking advantage of the new technology, MPT invested in his new and upcoming marketing technique which bore a fruitful result,” stated a release by MPT.
