Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai, while reviewing the complaints received on the mayor helpline and their redressal weekly, discussed the pending complaints with the officials of the corporation on the phone and directed that the mayor should resolve the pending complaints of the helpline immediately and this arrangement should also be ensured.

The complaints received daily through the mayor helpline should be resolved within 24 hours. During the review, Mayor Rai took feedback from many complainants on the telephone regarding complaints and their redressal.

The complainants also expressed their gratitude to Mayor Rai for quick and satisfactory action taken to resolve their complaints. During the review, Mayor Rai was informed that 2154 complaints were received in the month of April, out of which 2042 complaints have been satisfactorily resolved and action is in progress to resolve the rest.

Mayor Rai reviewed the Mayor Helpline on Tuesday in the control room located at Smart City. During the review, Mayor Rai observed the complaints received on the helpline and the proceedings for their redressal on the computer and also took feedback regarding the redressal of complaints and problems over the telephone from many complainants.

Mayor Rai discussed the pending complaints with the officers on the phone and directed that the mayor helpline should take immediate action to resolve the pending complaints and normally the complaints received within 24 hours be sure to do.

During the review, Mayor Rai was informed that 2154 complaints have been received on "Mayor Helpline" in the month of April, out of which 2042 complaints have been resolved satisfactorily and at a speedy pace, action is being taken to resolve the remaining complaints.
