Dubai Now is a comprehensive application for all smart city services and the first unified platform of its kind that covers most of the daily needs of Dubai residents through more than 130 smart services provided by government and private agencies in a single user experience, making city services more smooth and effective and transforming Dubai into a global digital capital .
Matar Al Humairi, Executive Director of the Smart Dubai Government Corporation, told Al Bayan: The number of transactions completed through the Dubai Now application has reached 18 million digital payment transactions, worth more than 9.4 billion dirhams, equivalent to 2.5 billion dollars, since the launch of the application, which began with more than 80 service in October 2019 until it exceeded 130 services in June 2022 provided by more than 30 agencies from the public and private sectors.

He added: 2.47 million digital payment transactions worth 1.31 billion dirhams were made during 2022, with an annual increase of 17% in the number of transactions, and a total increase in user spending by 21% compared to last year.
He continued, “We always strive to develop the Dubai application now as a unified digital channel for customers to conduct all their transactions with ease and at any time and place to save time and effort and achieve customer happiness, and work is underway to add more services to the application to become the comprehensive application of the services of the Emirate of Dubai.”
Hind Al Nuaimi, Director of “Dubai Now” services in Dubai Digital, said: “The number of downloads of the program on “iOS and Android devices” has reached more than 2.7 million times since the launch of the application until July 2022, while the total number of registered users reached 936,000 users in the first half. This year, an increase of 11% compared to the previous year 2021.
She added that the rapid increase in the number of registrants indicates the desire of individuals to use the application, and to benefit from the various services it provides in various sectors.

The “Dubai Now” application includes many services in different sectors in the emirate, including: requesting travel reports and reports for sponsored persons with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, renewing vehicle registration, renewing a driver’s license, creating digital business cards, and providing the services listed in the application. Payment of DEWA, Du, Etisalat and Etihad water and electricity bills, Salik and Nol account recharge, vehicle insurance and registration management, payment of all traffic fines, access to the services of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, and verification of any title deed in the Emirate of Dubai.
Users can save time and access contactless city services on Dubai Now, such as paying bills and fines, recharging Salik and Nol balance, renewing vehicle registration, paying parking fees via mobile phone, filling fuel through ENOC, managing residence for spouses and children, and requests Academic history, travel and dependents report requests, flight tracking, and digital business cards.
“Dubai Now” services also provide viewing and management of medical appointments, laboratory results and prescriptions, as well as tracking the child’s vaccination plan, searching in the directory of doctors until visitors, clinics and hospitals registered with the Dubai Health Authority, searching for pharmacies, and users can view the official school directory from the Knowledge Authority. And human development, its classification, annual fees, curriculum and level, in addition to providing the opportunity to sign the guardian and school contract from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, and obtaining the approved academic record for the children.
The services also include obtaining a criminal case investigation certificate from Dubai Police, inquiring about cases in Dubai courts, tracking the information of incoming and outgoing flights through the “Travel Services Department” and reporting lost and found items at Dubai Airport, as well as viewing daily prayer times. and mosques surrounding the individual.
Dubai Now also organizes donations, as it is possible to donate to charitable organizations such as Dubai Cares, Noor Dubai, Dar Al Ber and Watering the Emirates, and to inmates in penal institutions, Beit Al Khair, the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments and other official licensed bodies.
