Communication and Information Techno0logies Ministry of Azerbaijan has hosted a collegiate meeting devoted to discussion of fulfillment of the country president’s decree "On organization measures for state bodies’ electronic services".

The Ministry has reported that at the meeting Communication and Information Technologies Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov told of organization of relations between officials and citizens in new form with the use of information technologies. The decree enabled increase of transparency and efficiency of state bodies’ activity, eradication of corruption cases and possible bureaucratic obstacles.

The ones speaking at the meeting told that Communication and Information Technologies Ministry and other central executive bodies have established efficient cooperation and took measures in e-services organization.

Aiming to regulate issues concerning provision of e-services the rules and exemplary administartive regulation were worked out and the list of planned e-services was submitted for consideration to the Cabinet of Ministers. At prseent the country infrastructure is ready for provision of individuals and legal entities with electronic signature, sharing information between state bodies as well as development of state bodies’ e-services with further connection to the e-government portal. E-services created in the area of telphony, Internet and mail were dispalyed.

Minister A. Abbasov noted necessity of keeping and further expansion of work in organization of e-services, importance of safety of e-services provided to population.
