India: Common service centre in Rajasthan starts operation |

Two Common Service Centres under National e-Governance Scheme today started operating at Talera and Barundan villages of the district with finalisation of technical formalities.
Villagers will be facilitated for payments of telephone, electric and water supply consumer bills and with other essential services like obtaining revenue land records etc. at these centres without plying for it to district headquarter.
CMS in charge BS Shakawat said that six other villages of the district were going to be functional with Common Service Centres by next week and would provide all sorts of facilities to the villagers.
The district officers including four SDMs and block development officers were also trained today by the technical official the firm, authorised to install these centres in the district.
