Berlin will bis Anfang 2009 auf digitalen Behördenfunk umrüsten
Berlin will Dampf machen bei der Einführung des Behördenfunks. Spätestens bis Anfang 2009 sollen die Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben (BOS) in der Hauptstadt abhörsicherer miteinander kommunizieren können, berichtet die Berliner Morgenpost. 50,6 Millionen Euro hat der Senat dafür eingeplant, um zusammen mit Hamburg Vorreiter bei dem lange verzögerten IT-Großprojekt zu sein. Bundesweit werden die Kosten für die bis 2011 vorgesehene flächendeckende Umrüstung auf den Digitalfunk mit 4,5 Milliarden Euro berechnet. Den Zuschlag für den Aufbau des Netzes hat zuvor bereits bundesweit der Luft- und Raumfahrtkonzern EADS erhalten.
Schweiz: Bald empfängt der Bund E-Mails
Die Bundesbehörden nehmen einen weiteren Schritt in Richtung e-Government: Verfahren sollen künftig auch elektronisch abgewickelt werden und Bürger mit E-Mails an die Behörden gelangen könnten.Der Bundesrat hat die Verwaltung am Mittwoch beauftragt, dafür die Voraussetzungen zu schaffen.
USA: VA expands electronic invoicing
Agency will also offer service to other federal agenciesThe Financial Services Center of the Veterans Affairs Department is setting up an electronic invoicing service for commercial vendors doing business with the agency. FSC also plans to offer this service for other agencies.
The agency signed an agreement with a commercial provider of an electronic invoice submission network, OB10. A&T Systems is acting as the contractor to bridge the agency to the network.
