Smart Columbus will receive $15m of the city’s American Rescue Plan Act funding while Franklin County will contribute $5.2m to further support the initiative.

A road map for New York City recommends taking a “challenge-based” approach to procurement and beefing up startup infrastructure.

New York City is poised to be a thriving hub for urban innovation, but first, it must get out of something researchers at the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech and the New York City Economic Development Corp. call “pilot purgatory.”

As part of a strategic collaboration with Peachtree Corners, Bosch is demonstrating its video-as-a-sensor technology in various deployments throughout the city.

Situated alongside the Chattahoochee River at the southwest corner of Gwinnett County 20 miles outside of Atlanta is Peachtree Corners, Georgia, a vibrant municipality that is home to more than 45,000 residents and an innovation hub that houses some of the world’s most disruptive technology companies. In Peachtree Corners, the economic development corridor is in the center of the city in an area known as Technology Park (Tech Park). Since its inception, Tech Park has grown to over 500 acres and supports over 10,000 employees and 4,000 residents.

The City of Raleigh will debut new interactive kiosks in the downtown area in hopes of improving the way people navigate the area.

The city will unveil 8-foot tall black boxes called IKE or interactive kiosk experience.

Each one has an interactive touch screen and when activated they'll help users get directions, find information about upcoming events in Raleigh as well as community and social service resources.
