Transforming Government since 2001
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) is proud to announce boat owners can now save time by renewing their boat registrations online. This service is open to resident and non-resident boat owners needing to renew their vessel registrations who have no changes or corrections to be made. Close to 600 boat owners have already renewed their boat registration through this easy to use, online service.

With a valid credit or debit card and an internet connection, in just a few clicks, boat owners have 24/7 access to the online boat registration renewal application. This convenient service allows boat owners to avoid the hassle of waiting in long lines or making arrangements to visit a county office during working hours. Immediately upon payment, registrants can print their temporary boat registration certificate to be used for a 30-day period or until they receive their official certificate in the mail from ADCNR. Applicants completing a new registration, transfer or replacement application will continue to complete the process at their local Judge of Probate’s office or office of their License Commissioner.

“ADCNR always looks for efficiencies when providing services to the public and is pleased to offer a quicker, more convenient method for resident and non-resident boat owners to enjoy Alabama’s waters,” said N. Gunter Guy, Jr., ADCNR Commissioner.

Enjoy Alabama and its waters faster by renewing your boat registration online today!
