The delegation listened to a presentation from Kerby about international criteria of eTransformation, improving eServices and online presence for the ministry. He also highlighted best practices of publishing data and statistics in open formats to be used by the public. Kerby answered the delegation’s questions on how to improve eServices and other eGovernment aspects in the ministry.
Salem Khamis Al Shair Al Suwaidi, director general, Emirates eGovernment, welcomed the delegation and said: “Ministry of Finance is one of the most important ministries in the country and one of the most active entities in eTransformation.
“It has launched a remarkable initiative in that regard. We are happy to work with the ministry of and give the chance to their team to meet with the UN adviser to discuss ways of enhancing online presence of the ministry.”
