ATIB reports that at the seminar it was conducted presentation of relevant systems applied in Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, China, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
The ADB consultants organized presentation of analysis of national road maps on development of one-stop shop principle applied in Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and presentation of road map on creation of regional one stop shop system within CAREC.
The seminar discussion showed that Azerbaijan, unlike the other CAREC member countries, applies the most effective one stop shop system on foreign economic activity,” it was informed.
The poll among the ATIB members showed effectiveness of such system use in Azerbaijan. In particular if earlier the process of customs registration of a truck took 4 days earlier, now ater introduction of this system it takes only three ours. Besides, customs registration of cargo required earlier a great deal of documents with volume of up to 40 pages and now it is required only one two-page document. Costs on storage of goods reduced much as well.
“ATIB backs Azeri government’s actions aimed at improving one stop shop system and expanding its coverage. Eventually this work should lead to creation of single e-Government,” it was reported.
ATIB established in April 2004 number in its ranks 91 companies with Azerbaijani and Turkish capital. Overall capital of the ATIB members has totaled $800 million and overall investments in Azerbaijani economy have exceeded $3 bn. The ATIB member companies have staff of about 40,000 employees.
