Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Dr. Tahani Abdalla Attiya , has affirmed that the sector of mail in the country is awaiting a new cycle of boom in the light of the expansion in the applications of the electronic government.
She noted that the mail companies will represent the complementary part of the electronic trade by undertaking the main role in delivering commodities, services and documents.
Dr. Tahani has expressed while addressing the personnel of the mail sector at the communications tower yesterday on the occasion of the international anniversary of mail that she is looking forward that the sector of mail is to play an effective role in economic and social development.
She called on the companies to improve their services and expand geographically and benefit from the modern technologies to cope with the progress seen by the mail services worldwide to motivate the citizen to depend on its multiple services.
She praised the efforts of Sudapost the national operator of the mail service in Sudan in boosting the economy and the success of the elections.
