A Greek experts delegation representing IDF Greece Company specialized in designing projects of internet cities visited Damascus yesterday according to the memo of understanding signed between Ministry of Communications and Technology and the UAE al-Kawnia Group for Investment.
The delegation get acquainted with the overall vision of the projects to set up the primary designs for the project.
The Greek experts stressed that Syria possesses wide prospects for developing industry of data technology.
Syria and the United Arab Emirates Company for investment Al-Kawnia in Abu Dhabi recently inked two memos of understanding, the first included building a joint company to establish an a $ 2 million integrated city for internet in Damascus, and the second is aimed to execute the e government services project.
The two memos were inked by Minister of Communications and Technology Amr Salem and Chairman of emirates al- Kawinia Group for investment Khalifa Bakhit al-Flasi.
