Newsline takes a look on the three projects:
- Online Student Management System
This system keeps a track of a student and all processes related to them right from registration for admission in Delhi Government schools till the student leaves the school by obtaining school leaving certificate. The module comprises of online registration and admission; online performance tracking of all the students, including result analysis, issuance of various certificates; online attendance; health record of each student.
- Computer Aided Learning
The Delhi Government is the first state in India to completely digitise and animate the Class X curriculum on CDs and it is expected to be extended to classes XI and XII. In Computer Aided Learning, teachers use multimedia, CDs, and related computer based hardware to teach students for easy learning and making the education more interesting. Now, the government has initiated the next stage of this programme, called CALTOONz, where cartoons are used for interactive teaching.
- File Monitoring System and Bar Code Solution
Designed in-house by the DSIIDC, the File Monitoring System keeps a track of a particular file by generating a unique code for it. Each time, it goes from one office to the other, its record is maintained online and can be tracked at click of a mouse.
