Dubai e-Government and eHosting DataFort (EHDF), a leading regional provider of managed hosting and security services, announced today the launch of the new e-Government portal and e-Payment gateway. A new network architecture developed by EHDF and application architecture designed by Dubai e-Government running on a new technology platform will help Dubai achieve the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to “Ease the lives of people and businesses interacting with the Government and contribute in establishing Dubai as a leading economic hub.” A dedicated, expert team from EHDF worked closely with Dubai E-Government’s engineers to develop scalable and reliable network architecture in an eight week period and managed a disruption free migration for critical government services. The portals, their architecture, the 'look and feel', and all web interfaces were designed and developed by Dubai e-Government and rolled out across the network and security infrastructure implemented by EHDF.

The smooth running of this portal is essential for the day-to-day local government functions and in fulfilling Dubai’s ambitions to making living and working in Dubai easier for residents, businesses, and visitors.
