The portal makes it possible for the citizens to get on-line information about hundreds of services as well as to download necessary forms.
"The next step in the portal's development will be e-working of documents as the operations will be performed between the administrative structures themselves," said the head of E-Government DirectorateYuriy Alkalay.
Among the first projects to be developed at the beginning of the next year is launching of an e-pay system.
The new project was officially presented by Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev and the Minister of State Administration Nikolay Vassilev.
A recently adopted plan of the European Commission provides for saving about EUR 300 B annually after introducing the administrative e-services in the EU member-states.
