  • India to help African state, Lesotho link up e-governance connectivity

    The government of India inked a pact with The Kingdom of Lesotho towards linking the African state with e-network facilitating services such as tele-education and tele-medicine and net connectivity for video conferencing among the heads of states.

    Part of the pan-African project valued at Rs 542.9 crore which aims to connect African students from Indian Universities, the project will also provide tele-medicine services by way of online medical consultation in the patient-end locations from Indian medical specialists.

  • Lesotho hosts regional postal services body

    The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Representative Cecilia Mamelodi-Onyandile says SADC will work with Lesotho to ensure the Southern African Postal Association (SAPOA) realises its key strategic roles.

    Mamelodi-Onyandile said this at the signing of the host agreement between the government of Lesotho and the SAPOA on November 23.
