Transforming Government since 2001

Wants to know about standout products and services, lessons learned and challenges.

The Australian Government has launched a survey to collect feedback about issues relating to smart cities, regions and towns.

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development’s smart city stakeholder survey aims to collect feedback from stakeholders with an interest in smart city technology.

That includes all levels of government, universities, industry bodies, the private sector, not-for-profit organisations and research organisations.

Survey participants will receive a summary of the de-identified survey results.

The survey asks participants to name standout Australian smart city products or services, and if their organisations are doing anything innovative in the smart city arena.

It also asks about how organisations collaborate on smart city issues and smart city lessons they have learned.

And it asks about barriers to rolling out smart city solutions and what help participants need to become “smarter” cities, regions or towns.

The deadline to complete the survey is July 26, 2019.
