Nusantara Capital City Authority (OIKN) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Siemens, a German technology company, to develop a smart city, smart building, smart energy sector, smart mobility infrastructure, and smart industrial automation systems in the new capital city of Nusantara.
“We believe that the collaboration with Siemens will bring valuable insights and expertise to the development of smart city concepts in Nusantara, and we look forward to working closely with them in the implementation of this project,” said the Head of the OIKN Bambang Susantono in a press release received in Jakarta, Tuesday.

The Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is targeting to help 24 million micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) enter the digital ecosystem by the end of 2023.
"As of December 2022, there have been 20.76 million MSMEs that have been 'onboarded' to digital (ecosystem), and in 2023, it is targeted 24 million MSMEs will enter the digital ecosystem," Cooperatives and SMEs Minister Teten Masduki informed.

State-owned construction and investment enterprise PT PP (Persero) Tbk has agreed to cooperate with a South Korean company to implement a smart city project in Nusantara, Indonesia's new national capital (IKN), in East Kalimantan.
