The Italian regions of Valle d'Aosta (VdA) and Friuli-Venezia Giulia (FVG) in northern Italy have signed a five-year agreement to cooperate on strengthening of the e-government project and development of the Information Society in the two regions.
The partnership deal also envisages exchange of know-how and experience aimed at developing and managing information systems for the public administration in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Valle d'Aosta. The two regions will also cooperate on developing organisational models and managing strategic projects. The partnership envisages joint investments in training as well.
Friuli-Venezia Giulia has a long tradition in the field of innovation and new technologies, said Aurelio Marguerettaz, Valle d'Aostàs regional councillor for budget and finance.
Further details about the partnership between Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Valle d'Aosta will be fixed in joint programmes to be announced in the following months.
