The user-friendly application is designed to allow nurses to quickly and easily renew their professional licenses. Both Registered Professional Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses can use the service.
Nurses who wish to use the system must meet a simple set of criteria. They must have a license that has not lapsed or is inactive, the license cannot be under suspension, and the license holder must hold a Maine license. Nurses who meet these criteria can renew their license, change the status of their license from active to inactive, or update their address. Payment with a Visa or MasterCard may be made through Maine.gov's secure payment processor.
The Maine State Board of Nursing Online Renewal Application was developed in partnership with InforME, the state of Maine's private-sector partner and official Web portal provider. All online services and official state of Maine Web pages can be accessed from www.Maine.gov.
