Alabama’s official state website, Alabama.gov, was recently presented with the Silver Communicator Award in the web application and services category. The award-winning website met the high standard of excellence set by the Communicator Awards with its ease of usability, innovative features, and a simplistic sleek design.
This is the fourth consecutive year Alabama.gov has been recognized by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, and the second year in a row of winning the Award of Distinction.
The Communicator Awards is an annual nomination with a collective entry pool of more than 6,000 applicants. This is the 20th year of the international awards program and is one of the largest of its kind. Entries are judged to evaluate distinction in creative work and are awarded to those who strive for innovation while creating the best user experience possible.
