According to the information received by the MPPOST names of winners of 7 categories of the National Award for e-Governance have been announced. The forest department would get silver medal for using of technology in management of information regarding forest fire. The East Area Vidyut Vitran Company would get silver medal for use of information communiction technology in automated metering scheme.
The Food and Civil Supplies Department of the Chhattisgarh Government will get golden award. The National Open University would get silver award for online facilities. The Industrial Policy department and National Information Technology Centre, Department of Information Technology, Government of India would get silver medal for patent and trade mark activities. The printing and stationery department, of Himachal Pradesh Government will get silver award for electronic gazette, e-gazette, The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will get golden award for e-city and e-governance, the Controller Accounts and Audits would get silver award for e-accounts, and the Industries and Mines Department of Gujarat Government would get bronze award for e-procurement system.
Likewise, the e-Huda estate management, Haryana would get silver award.
Digital order and supply (OFS) and excise permission system, and National Information Technology Centre, Bangalore would be given bronze award.
The Indian Ocean Information Service Centre, Hyderabad, will get silver award for best government website www.inquas.gov.in and the national panchayat portel www.panchayat.gov.in will get silver award. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur will get bronze for its portel www.cityhelpline.org will get bronze award.
