The district administration has invited applications from polytechnic and college students for the Chief Minister’s Excellence in e-governance awards for the year 2015-16.
According to a release, the scheme meant for students of government, government-aided and private colleges will have three awards – development of application for innovative use of mobile technology, software for health/school education and other social and development of application for differently-abled persons.
The prize money for the top three winners in each component at the State-level would be Rs. 2.50 lakh, Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 1.50 lakh respectively and a trophy.
Applications should be submitted at the Collectorate here before September 11. More details and applications can be downloaded from the website www.viluppuram.nic.in.
