'The Ministry provides 9 eServices, all of which can be accessed easily through simple and easy to follow steps. The services aim to provide new, effective and high quality communication channels to citizens and stakeholders from different government organizations,' said Satir.
'We are keen to keep in pace with the eGovernment's program that seeks to provide high quality and timely services and improve living standards for all.' explained Satir.
Materials Engineering Director Sameer Affouni explained that with the rise and expansion in projects, which also entails increasing work load, it was inevitable for the Ministry to switch to electronic system in order to effectively communicate with those seeking to benefit from certain services, and provide test results electronically to save time and resources.
'The Materials Testing eService is fast, simple and accurate. All the user has to do is request the testing service through an interactive electronic system to specify the required tests. The sample is then given a follow-up number and is automatically transferred to the related lab to complete the service,' explained Affouni.
Through the eService provider, which guarantees confidentiality and privacy, users can easily follow up their applications, get the results and print them. An SMS is also sent to the user following the completion of the testing process.
The Ministry of Works urges customers to benefit from the eServices provided, which are always easy to access anytime and anywhere.
