As part of its efforts to provide a wide range of high-quality services, the eGovernment Authority has announced the activation of 'Ramadaniyat' section on the eGovernment portal (Bahrain.bh/Ramadan).

'Ramadaniyat' section provides various eservices that are looked for by citizens and residents; eServices include Prayer Times, Ramadan Calendar, and general information about Zakat.

The section also provides mosques locations in the kingdom, in addition to the duaas and Majalis Directory, which enables the users to view a list of Ramadan gathering spots, their timings and contact numbers.

Moreover, the section includes a daily competition that comprise 15 questions - one question a day - starting from the first to the fifteenth of the Holy Month; with an opportunity for contesters to win cash prizes on a daily draw, which will be at the end of each day. The competition will be available through the portal (bahrain.bh/ramadan) and Al-Ayam Newspaper; however, all answers to be been received via the portal, where the correct answer and the winner's name will be announced in the following day.

In addition, the eGovernment will also launch a daily competition in collaboration with Bahrain Radio on 93.3FM during the live show (Juha Noon), presented by Huda Darwish and Ali Al Qattan. The daily radio competition will commence on 18th, Ramadan and continue for 6 days from 1PM to 3PM, with various questions related to the eGovernment programme, and by the end of the each show the winner will be announced to receive cash prizes.

'Ramadaniyat' section has been launched to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan by providing a bundle of online useful services to the public on the eGovernment Authority Portal (Bahrain.bh/Ramadan) and the Mobile Portal (bahrain.bh/mobile) aiming at saving time and efforts by providing various eServices that are needed by the citizens and residents during Ramadan.

All eServices related to the holy month will now be available on the 'Ramadaniyat' section on the eGovernment portal (bahrain.bh/ramadan), the mobile portal (bahrain.bh/mobile), and are also accessible through WAP and SMS by sending the relevant codes of each service as specified in 'Ramadaniyat' webpage.
