“This is in line with the Dubai Strategic Plan which calls for greater transparency and accountability in all government sectors,” Salem Khamis Al-Shair, eServices director at Dubai eGovernment, said. “Our integration platform has been utilised effectively by other government departments for seamless transactions and will now be used to create a secure, unified credit reporting solution.
We are pleased to work with Emcredit and are ready to support their goals and aspirations, as we share a similar vision in the field of electronic and financial transactions.” With this deal, Emcredit says it hopes to provide credit reports that will cover information beyond mere banking data to include other forms of information relating to a person’s payment history.
Emcredit, a project initiated by the Department of Economic Development, Dubai, is located at the Dubai International Financial Centre.
