SEDD's current e-services include a licence inquiry service that helps government departments check the validity of licences and other related details such as the partners in the license, the activities covered, among others.
Said Ms Youmna Saif Al Noman, Director of SEDD's IT Section, "The SEDD has recently launched a range of new e-services as part of our revamped website. The renovated website with its new look offers new interactive services, some of which are directed at government departments. The SEDD aims, through this workshop, to familiarise these parties with the nature of the new services and how to maximise benefit and get optimum advantage from these facilities."
"These workshops were directed at certain government parties, and the SEDD ultimately aims to expand this service to about 20 government departments after double checking the efficiency of the service and implementing the comments offered by the departments that have been testing the services. This workshop was designed to provide training to the employees of these departments on the new service, familiarise them with the features of this service, and get their comments and suggestions to further improve the services in the future," Al Noman added.
