DEWA participates in the seminars in order to exchange expertise and experiences to enhance its eServices and Smart Services, in line with Dubai Government's strategy.
DEWA came first in the Dubai Smart Government's review of the 'Dubai Government Entities' websites for 2012-2013.' This has enabled DEWA to lead the way in simplifying its transactions and making services more accessible.
Marwan Bin Haider, Vice President of IT and CIO of DEWA , presented on the role of IT in enhancing corporate performance, the modern technologies used in its development, and the role of IT in simplifying procedures to enhance government services. The team presented successful examples of Information Technology's role in enhancing DEWA 's eServices and Smart Services, building on DEWA 's mission to become a sustainable world-class utility.

The seminars witnessed strong participation from the heads of IT departments, and staff representing various government organisations in Dubai.
