The move comes at the behest of Minister of Electricity and Water and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim, Assistant Director General of Kuwait Municipality for Control and Inspection Ghassan Al-Thaqeb said in news remarks.
As part of efforts to beef up municipal e-services, the municipality is introducing 100 programs to its service system, he said.
Coordinative meetings have been held among officials of several municipal sectors with a view to improving e-services nationwide, he added.
Meanwhile, the municipal control and inspection sector is carrying out crackdowns at residential areas and main roads, he Al-Thaqeb pointed out.
