“The agreement comes in the framework of the SIDF’s efforts to develop and empower its e-transactions in conformity with royal instructions to transform all government agencies into e-transactions,” said Mohammed bin Ahmed Jameel Mulla, minister of communications and information technology.
The agreement was signed by Mulla and the chairman of the SIDF’s board, Eng. Yusuf bin Ibraheem Al-Bassam.
Mulla said the e-government program, Yesser, would provide consultancy services to the SIDF and determine the best ways to develop and upgrade its infrastructure. Al-Bassam said Yesser would enable the SIDF to implement its programs electronically.
Cooperation will expedite the way SIDF services are provided to borrowers, the industrial sector and government agencies. According to the agreement, Yesser will provide the SIDF with an advisory team.
The team will carry out studies and evaluate the services provided by the SIDF in terms of efficiency and performance.
