However, Muhammad Ghazie said that the size of the project would not be significantly large, as Cambodia was still growing in the ICT sector.
"Malaysia has established relations with Cambodia in the ICT field since four years ago. Cambodia has great potential to grow in this area," he told reporters after Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, Sar Kheng, visited the MDC headquarters here Tuesday.
Kheng, who arrived Monday with an 11-member delegation for a three-day visit, was briefed on the fundamental, approach and impact of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC).
Muhammad Ghazie said that Malaysia was also looking into the possibility of assisting Cambodia in setting up e-government.
However, he said that this had to be looked into thoroughly because Cambodia lacks the proper infrastructure to implement e-government.
Muhammad Ghazie said that Kheng showed great interest in the ICT sector to help build Cambodia's economy.
