The Ministry of Communications & IT of Azerbaijan is finishing work on the e-government bill.
Deputy communications minister Elmir Velizadeh says that the draft law will be introduced into Milli Majlis before the end of 2011.
“The drafting work is approaching to the end and be submitted for approval of the government until the end of the year,” he emphasized.
The bill will define the terminology and the e-government regulation, e-service concept and principles of collection and provision of personal information to citizens.
To date, only seven countries around world have adopted e-government laws.
