At the end of the year 2002 the Austria-portal www.oesterreich.at was put into operation. It not only acts as a directory for all Internet-services offered by the Austrian government, but also as a Content Management System for the agencies and institutions submitting documents, images, news and links for publication on the site. The Viennese software-company Uptime developed the entire site in only 3 months, building on the web-environment Zope and the Zope-powered Content Management Framework CMF. "This is a complex web-site." says Nikolaus Kimla, Uptime's CEO, "We hope, this high-profile project will give Zope and the CMF credibility and helps to extend their user-base in the industry."
