Transforming Government since 2001
The Ministry of Justice has entered into a £22m five year shared shares deal to manage human resources, payroll, finance and procurement operations across the department's business network.

The new shared services arrangement will cover bodies including Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service, Her Majesty's Prison Service and the Ministry of Justice Head Office.

The deal is expected to save the department £28m by 2014 and will result in the creation of a common platform, increasing the speed and accuracy of the MoJ's enterprise resource planning system.

Mark Lyons of Accenture, the company chosen to deliver the project, said: "We will work with the Ministry of Justice and its other chosen suppliers to improve the quality and consistency of services that it offers its 80,000 employees."
