  • AZ: Over 10 state structures join e-government

    As many as 16 central executive bodies have already joined the "e-government portal".

    Senior Advisor of the ICT Ministry Etibar Umudov told the statement to the journalists, Gun.Az reported.

    He said over 60 services of those bodies were integrated to the portal.

  • AZ: Pension Fund connects to e-government portal and introduces a third component of identification

    Since the next quarter of 2011 the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan is to begin to use electronic digital signature (EDS) in its work – procedure of SSPF connection to e-government portal has been completed.

    SSPF chairman Salim Muslimov informs that for use of EDS it remained only to integrate Fund’s computerized system with the system of Computer Information Centre of the Communications & IT Ministry.

  • AZ: Pilot project on single document circulation system of state bodies developed

    A pilot project has been developed to introduce a single document circulation system to stare bodies, a board meeting on review of the first quarter 2012 of the ICT Ministry has said.

    In the first phase, the project is planned to be applied in the structures of the ICT Ministry, Gun.Az reported.

  • AZ: Population to be offered e-signature at discount prices

    Communication and Information Technology Ministry has created National Certificate Services Center to ensure introduction of e-signature in country.

    The National Certificate Services Center has a certification service center for governmental agencies and e-government certification service center aimed at providing e-signature services to state agencies, citizens and businesses, the Ministry said.

  • AZ: President gives two weeks to state structures to apply e-services

    A wide application of electronic services is a very big factor in combating corruption and bribery, President Aliyev has said.

    Addressing the expanded sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers to review socioeconomic development in the first quarter of 2012, the president noted that the relevant instruction was made and the order was signed so that all structures offered electronic services, Gun.Az reported.

  • AZ: Procedure of e-services for admission to civil service established

    The Commission on Civil Service Affairs under the President of Azerbaijan established the procedure for the provision of e-services.

    By Order #134-Q Commission’s chair Bahram Khalilov approved the administrative regulation of Commission’s e-services.

  • AZ: Regulations on electronic mortgage approved

    Azerbaijan, which has already made great strides in building of electronic government, took another step in its bid to provide a full-range of e-services in all government agencies.

    President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the approval of regulations on electronic mortgage. The regulations specify legal, organizational and technological basics of the e-mortgage system, which aims to ensure the allocation of mortgage loans, including low-interest loans granted by Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund.

  • AZ: Results of monitoring in state e-service structures announced

    Today, results of the monitoring held in state structures offering electronic services were publicized.

    The monitoring was held by "Transparency Azerbaijan" Anti-corruption Public Union, "Constitution" Researches Fund and Information and Cooperation Network of Anti-corruption NGOs to monitor the implementation state of Presidential Decree on "Some measures for organizing electronic services of state structures" signed on 23 May 2011.

    During the monitoring held with the support of OSCE Baku Office, the implementation level of tasks defined in the Decree was investigated and a report was made in this regard.

    Nowadays information technologies are an integral part of the modern world.

    The statement came from Rabiyyat Aslanova, the chairwoman of the Committee on Human Rights of the Milli Majlis.

  • AZ: South Korea and Azerbaijan signs grant agreement on ICT sphere

    Today, $3.7 mln-grant agreement was signed between Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Azerbaijani Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies on “establishment of training center for e-government in Azerbaijan” in Baku.

    According to APA-Economics, within the project, the training centers will be established in 15 regions including Baku, Ganja, Nakhchivan, Sumgayit, Mingechevir, Barda, Lankaran, Gazakh, Imishli, Gabala, Goychay, Shirvan, Shamakhi, Guba, Shaki.

  • AZ: South Korea, Azerbaijan sign $3.7 mln grant agreement under e-government project

    Azerbaijan's Communication and Information Technologies Ministry and the Foreign Ministry of South Korea on Thursday signed a $3.7 million grant agreement on the creation of training centers under an electronic government project in Azerbaijan.

    The ICT Ministry is developing a draft state program on the development of e-government for 2013-2015. The draft program will be presumably submitted to the Presidential Administration by the end of April. The new program is continuation of the state program on developing the ICT sector in Azerbaijan in 2010-2012.

  • AZ: State committee: Baku digital real estate map to be prepared for next 2-3 years

    The Azerbaijani State Property Committee will prepare an electronic data base of real estate cadastre and digital cadastral map of Baku for the next two to three years, committee chairman Karam Hasanov said at the public presentation on 'E-services in the management and property registration: transparency and efficiency' on Thursday.

    The committee has today presented electronic services for re-registration of rights over real estate and obtaining references, as well as the sale of confiscated property by the State Committee and others.

  • AZ: State Fund for IT Development granting loans

    Authorized banks of Azerbaijan's State Fund of Information Technologies Development have begun to granting loans for the development of IT-projects, the Communications and High Technologies Ministry reported.

    The Ministry said the total amount of credit given by Pasha Bank and Bank Respublika to two Azerbaijani companies GoldenPay and Enginet is 900,000 manats (about $1,146,640).

  • AZ: State info system of e-services ceases developing

    "State information system of e-services” (www.ehdis.az), recognized as the best state website in Azerbaijan, has ceased to grow.

    According to the data of the info system itself, through it business can get the services of the same four state institutions (Ministries of Taxes and of Economic Development, the State Customs Committee and the State Social Protection Fund), as in the previous quarter.

  • AZ: State property sales through e-auction launched

    The State Committee on Property Issues of Azerbaijan held the first electronic auction on July 4.

    The Committee reported that currently, the "electronic auction" service combines the privatization procedure of vehicles and equipment. In the future, it will be possible to privatize small state enterprises and facilities, joint-stock companies through electronic auction.

  • AZ: State services electronification implemented by 72%

    Electronification of the state services (computerization and integration into “e-government portal”) has been implemented by 72%.

    According to Ali Abbasov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Communications and High Technologies, today 300 services of 417 approved by the Cabinet of Ministers are available at the portal.

  • AZ: State Statistics Committee has automated process of statistical info distribution

    The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan has posted new e-services at its official website.

    Mary Amirova, SSC Information Distribution Department’s head, informed that introduction of new e-services will accelerate the process of obtaining information.

    "E-services enable users of the SSC website and statistical information through the Internet to send a request to the Committee to get their statistical information," she noted.

  • AZ: System of e-signature certificates' integration into new IDs to be presented in Baku

    Presentation of a system of integration of e-signature certificates into new IDs will be held within the framework of the 23rd Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference Bakutel 2017, the country's Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Valizade said.

    He made the remarks Dec. 4 in Baku at a press conference dedicated to the opening of the Bakutel 2017 Exhibition.

  • AZ: Tax Ministry’s educational organizations and E-government operator decide to cooperate

    Educational organizations of the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan and operator of E-government (Ministry of Transport, Communications & High Technology; NRYTN) made a decision on cooperation.

    NRYTN informs that Rauf Jabbarov, director of educational center of portal E-government, and head of the Tax Ministry’s training centre Ali Hasanov signed a cooperation agreement.

  • AZ: Tax payments to be available online

    “GoldenPay” is negotiating with the Taxes Ministry regarding the payment of taxes via the Internet, business development manager of the company Naina Samadova-Mehdiyeva said.

    She said that this project is realized within the e-government, Gun.Az reports.

    “We haven’t launched technical work yet. We are in the negotiation process. The project will be realized within the year.”
