Communication Intelligence Corporation ("CIC") (OTC Bulletin Board: CICI - News), the leader in biometric signature verification & natural input software and a leading supplier of electronic signature solutions announced today that its 90% owned joint venture Communication Intelligence Computer Corporation, Ltd. Japan's Hitachi Ltd. said Tuesday it will set up a joint venture with Beijing University of Technology to push ahead with joint business efforts for China's e-government projects.

  The joint venture, Hitachi Beijing Tech Information Systems Co.,is due to be established in October with an initial capital of 100million yen (854,700 US dollars) and a workforce of 30, Hitachi said.

Baltimore UniCERT will manage the complex registration requirement of issuing over 4 million e-Certs in the next four years.
