According to new research from research firm IDC, e-Government IT spending in the top 5 countries in Western Europe is expected to increase over the next few years.

In order to gauge the capacity of Central European countries to achieve the ambitious e-government goals set for them by the EU, and to gauge their progress to date, the Economist Intelligence Unit, sponsored by Oracle, has conducted a wide-ranging analysis of the e-government experience in the Central Europe region.
