Dubai eGovernment Department received last week a delegation from the Egyptian government, which visited the emirate to learn more about Dubai's eTransformation initiatives and the Government Resource Planning (GRP) System. The Egyptian delegation also reviewed how the GRP System has been able to link different government departments and provide a unified platform to efficiently manage their internal resources and processes, while ensuring optimised privacy and confidentiality.
The Egyptian delegation included Amr Zahra, Advisor to the Egyptian Minister of Finance for Automation of State's General Budget; Samer Abdel Maqsoud, General Budget Automation Project Manager at the Egyptian Ministry of Finance; and Majed Shawqi, Operations Manager, e-Finance Company. They were joined by Ahmed Mohammed Bin Humaidan, Director General of Dubai eGovernment; Matar Saeed Al Humairi, Dubai eGovernment's Director of Infrastructure Management; Mohammed Karzoun, Director of GRP Systems at Dubai eGovernment; and Khalil Saqer, Director of Marketing & Communication, Dubai eGovernment.
