Jeddah Governorate Portal came in second in the best e-content, while the e-Government Program (Yesser) of Saudi Arabia came first In the best e-project category for its governmental integrated channel and in e-economy category, the payment system in Saudi Arabia (Sadad) came first in addition to SaudiEDI (Saudi Electronic Data Interchange) project which won award of appreciation.

Saudi Arabia: Official gov'tal circles, Saudi companies authorize SSSProcess for electronic payments
The Jordanian-Saudi Company SSSProcess, specialized in providing e-government services and software solutions, stated that it has begun incorporating the 'C4 Sadad' solution in a large number of organizations and Saudi companies who seek e-payment services live via their website.
However, the event, which was celebrating the completion of the Al-Wathiq project, was marred by the absence of female journalists, who were not allowed into the venue. Al-Wathiq will be used to analyze, develop and restructure the Ministry of Information’s procedures. It will also scrutinize policies and identify weak points.
