An 11.6 million euro agreement for the development of e-government in the Lombardy region was signed this morning by the president of the region, Roberto Formigoni, and the Minister for Innovation and Technologies, Lucio Stanca. The Region will contribute 7.9 million euro to be used in eight new projects.

Speaking at a meeting titled ‘Innovation cities’, which took place in Milan, he said that “this is an unprecedented financial effort. Modernization is on top of government priorities”.
